Here’s my bad #SuperBowl take: the Eagles and Chiefs just feel like mirrored teams except, other than Mahomes (and maybe Kelce) the Eagles are just better across the board.
I know QB is important, but the Eagles are better at WR, RB, DL, LB, and DB.
This doesn’t feel like it will be close.
There just seem to exist a group of people that view the world in binary terms. And the end result of that thinking is inevitably conflict. Always.
Sports teams and players easily fall into this metaphorical categories,. On one hand, you will find players whose sole purpose or intention is to make as much money as possible.
On the other hand, you have players who want to work for franchisees whose goal it is to win championships.
Trump-style business is always zero-sum / winners and losers only as opposed to collaborative negotiation / “a rising tide lifts all boats.”
Christian followers break down into the “Our Father; love thy neighbor” paradigm versus Evangelical/proselytizing/conversion.
I feel like it’s becoming obvious that there are TRULY only two types of philosophies in the world.
