One thing I'll say about metaphor- it is miles better than any persona game out there, and I really like those games and hold 4 as one of the best I've played. But this is just, better. Better pacing, better gameplay, incredible character writing. Just, magnificent.

FINISHED METAPHOR REFANTAZIO. So incredible actually, literally some of the best overall character writing I've seen in any game. No misses in any of the major characters I love them all. It gets me excited every time I go to a new area and the story progresses so neatly I couldn't stop playing.

I might hold back on that thought this final dungeon is tedious as hell

The themes they've explored in the game were done really well too.... And by this point I can be sure to say it's better than all the persona games.

I've also finished all of the bonds.... They're all mostly really good!! No misses. The only one I'd consider not good is Gallica but that's just because we barely have time for her bonds it's usually just two sentences per level
