it's frustrating because i used to be able to draw for hours straight and finish full pieces in 1 day, but now when i do find the motivation to draw i still have to stop mid-drawing to recoup. i would love to draw and post and be active and contribute to the community but i cannot. my body is evil
BASICALLY i feel like my battery is running at, like, 15% maximum. i do one thing and i'm drained for hours if not the rest of the whole day. catching up with everything going on in my feed is overwhelming. sometimes even getting out of bed feels like a feat in of itself !!
i know i don't neeeeeed to but i still want to apologize for lack of activity .. i haven't been posting a lot but also i haven't been keeping up with things here much in general. things are veryy overwhelming irl and it's hard to do things that i enjoy, even drawing for leisure is difficult

i had a lot more to say about this topic but my brain is unfortunately so fried as is
tl;dr i just can't stand cancel culture, mob mentality, and ALSO holding people's pasts over their heads for the rest of their lives. i am seeing it so MUCH lately
i feel like this little corner is generally more understanding of this because a lot of us get accused of being animal abusers over pixels All The Time. so we Know what this is like. it is so infuriating to see. speaking from experience it absolutely destroys people's mental health
obviously there is some nuance ... like if the person is a close friend, it makes sense you're more inclined to trust them and don't feel like you *need* proof to believe them. but mainly i'm talking about strangers here. people can AND WILL intentionally mislead people or lie altogether
i think that people are way too comfortable with accepting life-ruining accusations from strangers as true especially with no proof in this day and age. and esp with how people are misusing and watering down a lot of serious terms in order to make things seem worse than they actually are
and of coursseee ty for ur patience in this time </3 i will try to get some personal art/doodles done to keep myself in the flow and have things to post but ... posts will be sporadic for now. love u all thank u for the support while i ride this ruff patch through
