Well that was actually planned and tested by F1. When the full wheel covers were announced for 2022 there was a couple of testes to have LEDs on them so show positions, driver numbers and pit stop times.
Didn't really pan out.

Yes indeed. The power jump from 470hp to 804hp equivalent is absolutely insane and a 208 top speed that they can get to very quickly.
