Managed to see Vince Cable last week - giving a lecture to York students on his views on politics since retiring as Lib Dem leader. Very fun!

The President of the United States will come into office with his own social media platform.

That, combined with X, means Trump will have turnkey state-run media.

I don’t think the media has fully grasped that yet.

The more this place reminds me of why I liked social media so much the more I realise that I stopped doing so a long time ago. It’s extraordinary what happened. The volume & violence of posts from accounts you had never shown the slightest interest in just exploded. It *must* have been deliberate.
