This is still one of the greatest games of all time. Still enjoy it like the first time.
🟢 Story, music, gameplay, general aesthetic. Everything is just gorgeous and a lot of fun.
🔴 Disc 2 has a lot of backtracking.
I've been drawing Vale a lot, so I'll leave her for last.

Playing With Fire is probably the best thing I've written/drawn so far.
But it was thanks to the trial-and-error from the previous arc.
And I know I can do it better.
The best way to learn how to make comics is... Making comics.
Max Comix's first arc's pacing sucks. The artstyle isn't that great either.
But I could have never improved if I didn't do it that way first.
Those first chapters helped me understand stuff about comic making I could've never learned otherwise.
If you want to start a comic, the best moment to do it is now.
If you're waiting "to be ready", you'll never be. There's always room for improvement, and there are obstacles you'll only find while making a comic. You may start today or in ten years, there are mistakes you'll make anyway.

27) Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (MSX2, 1990)
Going back to this one after playing MGS is wild, lol. Kojima certainly didn't want those ideas to go to waste if this game didn't get out of Japan.
🟢 WAY better than the first MG in every way possible.
🔴 Still needed a guide for some stuff, and a map.

The show is basically a parody of all the classic Hanna-Barbera shows that weren't 100% cartoony (Scooby-Doo, Jonny Quest and all the others that were pretty derivative of these two), but it has its own lore which is actually really awesome.
Go watch Venture Bros if you haven't. This show is pure gold.

Yup. I live in a city with 6 movie theaters but the closest one that appears on that page is one bus + one whole two-hour train from terminal station to terminal station + probably another bus so like a 3-hour trip in total.
I've learned about the release of the last 3 episodes by opening Facebook and the very first post being a couple of screenshots of the most important plot point in them, posted by a page I don't even follow.
I'd love to be optimistic, but there's no such thing as social media etiquette anymore.
Get ready to get the ending completely spoiled two weeks before you even have the chance to watch it before you don't live near any of the theaters showing it.
I was thinking of re-uploading it and replacing the sex scene with a sequence of some panels (in Webtoon's preferred format) of Matrix and Vale playing patty cake.
Which would absolutely ruin the scene and chapter as a whole but it'll be a good joke at Webtoon's expenses.
Well, that's good.
They still unpublished chapter 10 because of the (censored) sex scene (that Tapas allowed with no problem beyond a small content warning at the beginning of the chapter).
At first they'll look less conservative than Tapas with the content they allow in, but in reality that's just Originals privileges. For the rest, they're EVEN MORE conservative.
Oh, also, it doesn't matter if they allow risque content on their Originals™. You try to do the same and your entire chapter will be unpublished and forgotten for years even if you make changes and try to appeal.
So my advice is:
If you plan to upload your stuff to Webtoon one day, make sure to not have a complex page composition or overlapping elements that can't be easily edited out.
They do not like that and your comic will suffer the consequences.

Sorry I didn't want to butcher my comic to fit your mandatory "one panel on screen at any given time" format.
My comic happens to have several visual gags around the whole page composition and panels usually interact with each other or have irregular shapes.
Some of my latest commissions were basically "Hey, can you add my characters into this stock photo?" and I LOVE it.
Keep 'em coming.
I'm not that good at making backgrounds from scratch, especially non-organic ones (buildings, rooms, architecture in general). This is faster and more fun ✨
