I was honestly very irrationally worried that not drawing for a couple weeks would somehow mean I’d forget how to do it so it’s a huge relief to learn that’s not the case
everyone please stop calling ai glasses the "pervert glasses". this is appropriation of swirly glasses from pervert scientist women
NEW: How exactly has Alex Jones avoided paying the Sandy Hook families a single dime of what he owes? I wrote about it here, and spoke to Chris Mattei, an attorney for some of the families, and Lenny Pozner, the father of the youngest child who died at Sandy Hook: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
come on man.
Kinda like The Kiss by Gustav Klimt but Dorohedoro
i think it’s very cute that there’s so many different ways to shorten “because” and every once in a while you get to run into someone who does it in a new way that you haven’t seen before
i might film some flip throughs of these? just for fun. then back to the regularly scheduled werewolf women and mechs etc
looking back at old photo books i made (one day we’ll be done moving apartments)
this incredibly protracted move I’ve been doing has been kinda terrible for my mental health but also. it’s gonna be so good not living in an apartment where the ceiling is literally collapsing and every pipe leaks
(and tbc these are books that I printed and books myself… i’m still v proud of them honestly!!)
(frankly a big part of it is that there’s not really a good way to share photo books online if ur pretentious about the pace/experience of physically paging through a book, and Actual Books are prohibitively expensive to produce and to acquire? which I have like. Larger Political Problems with tbh)
i’ve had a rough time with photography for the past couple years and while comics do actually scratch a lot of the same creative itches for me, sometimes I look at stuff like this and i’m like oh my god I gotta shoot i gotta make pictures

I want shuukura fans to do what asoiaf people do where they refer to chapter numbers/povs like they’re quoting scripture, but to go even farther with it where you have to clarify which version/translation of the story you’re using
an artwork by Spindle of the character Tether, a woman with short black hair, black scelra, red irises, white pupils (cybernetic eyes). Topless, the artowrk is cropped at just above the cleavage. She's smiling and looking down
:)
….and now it’s getting an official translation… I’ll be vindicated in due time…
a while ago i made some posts where i was trying to argue that shuukura has some aspects that make it very sticky/exciting especially for a fandom-inclined audience and people did noooooot agree with me (i think largely bc I was using the green yuri as a comparison)…….

the Pitt spinoff I want is the fucking gothic novel that Whittaker is living in with that patient’s widow
I like when shuukura fan artists draw the crocodile tissue box
i always love when a comic can take small moments like this and make them feel so weighty with simple posing and panelling choices…… love comics…
beautiful women in my notifications saying ⚠︎ Forbidden
obvs they’re both about drinking, but beyond that I like the way they both capture a sort of quiet, not-fully-defined intimacy between the characters when they’re together
reading Kamiina Botan and it’s really scratching that “early chapters of Alcohol and Ogre Girls” itch
it's been seven months but i finally did clean up the sketches and half-ass some color

lrp Genetor isn’t the direct inspo for Hippolita in Impefect Science but it’s on the mood board for sure
The mech Genetor, a massive machine with multiple guns on its shoulders, a battle axe in its left hand, and a cannon in its left hand, silhouetted against a red sun with trees surrounding it
"The Empire is coming. Genetor is coming. She is coming."
