It’s eye opening and that class’s course book was probably the only book I read front to back. I swear after taking it, the world started to make sense.

It was my ticket out of poverty. Without scholarships, I wouldn’t have been able to go so I truly went there with the purpose of improving my life and trajectory and that’s exactly what I did

Not at all. It’s more than just academics and partying. It teaches you ethics and how to engage with people from all walks of life before there’s true life consequences. It’s your career before your career. If you do well, the possibilities are endless.

How much of the experience is really what you make it.

I have a lot more bills but settled into who I am versus trying to figure it out.

Greek life. It was overplayed and a lot of them were collective losers with hive mind mentality.

Driving around the city with my floor mates and RA in our pajamas in the middle of the night.

Seeing a bunch of coke. Like A LOT and people just doing it which was crazy to me.

Live off campus.

Take advantage of building relationships with your professors. Get involved on campus. It will take you a long way.
