The #CongressionElections are approaching this November.

They are not the midterms, they are the elections for control of Congress.

It's more important than the Presidency. Congress and it's control is what the Congressional Elections are all about. Democracy is at stake

So glad we won this. Ticketmaster’s monopoly was so predatory

Highly recommend FreeTaxUSA. My second year using it and my federal and state were both filed for free this year

A tax season reminder that Intuit TurboTax lobbied the government for years to block free public tax-filing.

Trump then terminated the free IRS Direct File program established under Biden, just a year after the tax prep giant gave his inauguration fund $1M.

Do you see how this works?

An illustration of Garth on his bike. He has pale skin and is wearing a black t-shirt, cargos, a black skater helmet, and has a yellow backpack. He looks stressed as his arms and the bike are shaking wildly on the rough road, covered in debris and potholes. A normality of his commute but not exactly a fun part. Behind is a rough depiction of a street whizzing by. Onomatopoeic writing in pink describing the shuddering of his bike, 'SKUNKA SKATCHA SKIKAK SHUNKA', in bright pink.

I hope you get that drive to do that project that's been sat on your backburner for years, your heart deserves it. It doesn't have to be good, it just has to exist. It's defiance.

This would’ve been a great place to raise a family, but instead a wealthy couple will collect egregious amounts of passive income from bachelorette parties.

A lot of people are quick to say they *can't* give up Amazon.

Okay, don't.

Just don't make it your default. That thing you threw in your basket that you can get elsewhere? Get it elsewhere.

If everyone still buying from Amazon reduced their spending by 20%, Bezos would be screaming bloody murder

Whatever arbitrary line these fascists have decided Trump crossed in the last month or two that somehow wasn’t crossed years and years ago

These people are still fascists and will continue to be fascists

And that ugliness will rear its head again, and they’ll say “but this time we’ll do it right”

Amazon, which saved $4B in taxes under Trump's Big Ugly Bill, has cut 30,000 jobs since last October.

Verizon, which saved $2B, plans to cut 15,000 jobs this year.

Meta, which saved $3B, plans to lay off 20% or more of its workforce.

Trickle-down economics is a cruel joke.

#citycouncilofdarkness is so fun for no other reason that you can tell the cast is having a BLAST playing these characters and I live for the antics while the cast is laughing their asses off

This was triggered from a Naruto fandom thing, but I've noticed it spread not just from fandom to general book criticism as well and I am begging for people to understand that if there are strong parallels or things that are subtext in the work, they are there on purpose.

Siobhan’s physical acting in the first episode of City Council of Darkness was hilarious! Episode was a hoot. Cannot wait to see more. Once again I cannot stress how good @dropout.tv is and is worth your time and money. #NotSponsored

To be fair, it’s not *really* a YouTube series. They have some full seasons on YouTube, and they usually upload the first episode of a season on YouTube, but it’s mainly available on the subscription service, Dropout. Also, 300 eps but campaigns are only 4-20 episodes long so it’s an easy commitment

new season of dimension 20 will save me

I’m the exact same way. I WANT to like CR so bad, I love Laura Bailey and with C4 I love Brennan and several other cast members but I think the season 4-20 episode format works SO well with D20 and the settings are SO interesting whereas CR is just too slow paced and generic

#politics

"I don't do politics."

Well, you should, you NEED to do politics.

After at least the last 6 years everyone should be involved in politics.

I don't say you Need to like it.
I Hate it, and I think many others hate it too.

But we have no choice, we Need to engage.
