The EVO situation is dire.

It could however get the other games on GBA and DS out there via eShop as Gamefreak/Nintendo loooooove money. Well I know they like my money.

Considering the cost of getting the cart (and a GBA if you don't have one) the $29 CAD cost doesn't seem like much.

Maybe this will take a bit of the bite out of resellers and the carts, but again if you got a 3DS or a DS or a flashcart it will be a bit hard to justify the cost.

Oh okay, picked a good time to go though each Gen. Once I get to the GBA games I can just play FireRed and LeafGreen on my Switch.

To be honest I am not sure why Nintendo doesn't do some sort of Pokémon collection on Switch and make it Home compatible.

A 3DS gives you access to every generation up to 7, a means to move those Pokémon forward to the newest generations.

Love that I got a Switch 2, but currently playing my 3DS so I can finish my Living Dex for Pokémon Home.

Plus playing the original Gen 2 after only really touching it briefly via emulation like the year it came out is quite the interesting journey
