Yeah, any mech that has an extendo-punch gets a plus from me. And I get thinking a kit is cool, but not being convinced enough to get it. That's been me with most of the IBO kits and late UC kits.
New ZZ suit to the collection. I feel ZZ suits don't get enough attention. I love how they can go from pretty standard UC to absolutely lovable weirdos, with the Gallus-J being near the middle. Especially love how many have some nice asymmetry.

Back to the familiar grounds with the Universal Cenury. It's the HG Nemo, Unicorn Version. Always loved the Nemo. Wish it got more appreciation. Painted the orange and shoulder vents myself with a marker. Pretty ok kit for being almost 13 years old.

It's done! Cool kit. Color separation on the main body is 99% perfect, and it poses well. I just have a hard time with those wings, the hands being loose, and the guns in the wings. They love to clash with the head. I'll try transforming it later since it has an MA mode

Seam along the top of the beam rifle
Finished the rifle. Did my best to paint the blue and little metallic details. The more annoying part was the sensor and the little... boxes(?) on the side. Think I did alright. The seam on the top refuses to close

I can definitely tell that is the case, as I am building the backpack and already used half the sheet. Honestly, the stickers aren't bad, and the kit would still look great without them, like you said. I just like having the stickers on.
Well. Either this peg broke at some point, and I never noticed, or I had my very first mold mess up. I can't tell. Cause this was snipped right off the runner like this. Oh well

Well, I've decided to keep up my Seed kit journey with the rising freedom. Which has a foil sticker sheet the size of most Real Grade decal sheets. Good lord. Gonna do my best to pant with Gundam Markers.

Another Zaku to the collection. These GQuuX kits are great. Had to glue the snoot in. Kept popping off. And the legs are a little weird with articulation. Damn fine Zaku otherwise

I decided to grab the RG Astray not too long after the HG for the sake of comparison and cause the RG just looks so damn cool. And it's not too bad. Poses decently well. Not as well as the HG, though. But not as bad as some other early RGs

I recently built the HG Red Astray. Always kinda liked the Astray designs more than the usual Seed designs. The less armored look, big ass sword on a big ass robot, and the simple color scheme just speaks to me. Oh, uh, this is a good kit, BTW.

Yeah, they can be. But it wasn't awful. Just a bit annoying. I'd still recommend giving it a go.

I also picked up an HG Deathscythe in my absence. I really like it. I have a weakness for scythes being used as weapons. And this has a laser scythe at that. It's also one of the few Wing MS I absolutely adore.

I saw an HG Strike on sale and decided to nab it. I've never really been big on Seed designs, but I have a softer spot for the Strike. I don't like the big ass backpack. I think it clashes a bit with the sleeker design of the Strike. I think it looks better without it

No problem! And I just chalk it up to Gundam's creative teams liking ludicrous names with equally ludicrous pronunciations.
The real kicker is that the pronunciation changes depending on dub or sub. Sub is "roo-briss," dub is "el-frit."
