for now it appears we have survived and i did 'save as' a new file rather than save over what was the current WIP file so current progress is secure. but i had war flashbacks to like 2-3 years ago when such a Tragedy Happened

horror story: the power flickered for less than a second and your computer didn't turn off so you haven't yet lost your progress on your current WIP piece but you're scared to immediately save in case it turns off mid save and you get a corrupted file
