Yes it’s horrible

A film can’t be long enough to do it justice!
I meant the 70s one but I greatly enjoyed the recent one.
Sara's headmistress's speech: ' Don't let me catch any of you at any time loving anything without asking questions. Question everything—even what I'm saying now. Especially, perhaps, what I say. Question every one in authority, and see that you get sensible answers to your questions.'
Yes, that’s true. Isn’t she a bit sour about a WH character in one of her novels?
She was leagues ahead of Brittain, imho.
The dramatization is terrific. The book is magnificent and so readable. Holtby was amazing.
South Riding is one of the best books ever.
Sweetheart! ❤️

I thought the first episode was terrific! I did have to stop every so often and think about other things for a bit.
I'm quite good at dissociating, so I'll press on as long as I dare. It's stuff about hearts that sets me off.
This really is a morning to set the pomodoro timer, dig in deep, and not worry for a second about the quality of the words because god knows they're terrible.
I’m digging in, perhaps unwisely.
On Audible, smooshed together into 3 parts!
Oh, that is all so delightful! I listened to the radio version with my old dad as it was being broadcast in the original 26 half-hour parts. I don't have those tapes any longer, but I do still have the ones I recorded from the mid-80s repeat.
Good knowledge!
I read and listened to both around the same time so they’re more or less the same thing in my mind.
It’s in the BBC radio version!
I had to walk out of Pulp Fiction during “that bit” and go and lie down in the foyer of the cinema because I started to black out.
Science nerds! My six year old has a question and Google is completely useless and keeps telling us the answer is silica aerogel- What is the lightest solid found in nature?
I can only imagine
Someone do 15 hours in the life of an adjunct professor, go on, I dare you.
Medical dramas freak me the fuck out so the first episode of The Pitt is proving something of a challenge.
Congratulations!
