Standing perfectly still in the middle of the small dog yard because against all odds every single dog is lying down asleep (to Árstíðir music), and I know that if I move an inch towards the wall to turn the lights off they're all gonna wake up and lose their shit.

There's something magically hilarious about a sleeping Frenchie letting out a tiny toot and every other relaxing dog within five feet standing up and moving away.

I've regrettably whaled disposable income on a few games I've spent a LOT of time with (Smite comes to mind), but after the Nexon fiasco with DFO when I was still in college (where I spent HUNDREDS of dollars only for Nexon to jump ship and none of the purchases transferred), I *learned* (mostly).

My usual process with F2P is if I enjoy the game enough for a long enough amount of time, I'll toss the devs some money... treat it like a 1-time purchase on a Steam sale or from a bargain bin that lasts a month. But most F2P devs expect a constant, subscription-like flow of money... it sucks.

Being fixated on mobile games sucks because so many of them are just... not great but also predatory? Had a momentary lapse into Cookie Run from 2021 - 2023, and whoof... Even if the game's fun and the characters and world are neat, those looming monetization features gutting enjoyment... ugh.

It has five gaping mouths with flat white teeth and dark gray/black interiors, as well as four reaching, mismatched, three-fingered arms. It appears to be anchored in an upper corner of some interior structure.

Another quick goob, wanted to do something paint/slime monstery. Could be a freaky Facetaker paintling, but I don't feel like tagging for that, haha.

Same! Granted, I base-cleared it blind and then 100%ed later with a guide, but even with a guide some of the execution is still pretty tough, at least for a kid. Great memories, though. Always loved the goofy sprite-swaps for clearing Special Zone, even if the "Fall" brown overworld made me sad. 😅
