Heck, set up a nice cozy environment, get all padded up and already in the headspace, THEN get high. I guess my two cents boil down to: Use it thoughtfully and with porposeful intent, or it might end up using you, ya know? Sorry you're dealing with all this, hope you're able to work it out! 💖

As a massive stoner, I get that "itch" to smoke, but I'll say "I'll keep drawing till the top of the hour", and take a dab as my "reward" for drawing, then head back to work. Or, if I'm already done working for the day, I'll start a game on my PC, go do a dab, and then come back to actually play it.

Take this all with a huge grain of salt, as I know everyone responds to THC vastly differently, but it really does screw with your reward system in your brain. The really tricky part is learning to use it AS a reward, not the starting point. Taking it aimlessly can end you up in a depressive spiral.

Some days it's 7-9 hours of drawing, but some days it's 7-9 hours of 3D modeling, or webdev (or occasionally animation). Whatever I'm most motivated to do that day~

I always do a few small studies for an hour or so at the start of my drawing sesh, feels like I'm sharpening my knives before I cook!
