I should note that before I typed my initial comment, I had even weighed my options! "I bet it's a coin toss that they'll tell me off for using Holo to refer to Holostars, but surely it's not THAT big a deal"

but reader, turns out it is a big deal!

A few months into Tempus' debut, I mentioned to someone that I had "gotten into the EN holo guys group" and they basically gave me a mini-lecture that Holo refers to the girls and I should only use Stars to refer to the boys

even then I thought, okay but they both start with Holo so that's weird

Personally my take about COVER dropping the ball even harder on HOLOSTARS:

Being a fan of things that aren't all that popular while living under capitalism fucking sucks dude... Everything is under risk of getting the plug pulled for not being "profitable enough"...

I never understood why Yagoo was so praised for "keeping Holostars" when they originally were meant to shut down, because he clearly didn't do anything to actually help them up to this point. Has no idea how to market them, doesn't listen to their fans, and gave them the short end of the stick.

I suppose the shockwaves from the Holostars JP announcement is hitting even non-Stars fans because it's a sign that Cover is in their "it's just business" phase
