In a lot of ways, I think X2 is both better and somewhat worse than Megaman X1. I do appreciate that the stages feel short but sweet with memorable bosses. But the 2nd xhunter stage is TERRIBLE. I did figure a work around for it but man...it really soured the game for me.

It's equally hilarious and tragic that FFIV: The After Years starts to get interesting towards the final arc of the game.

It takes *forever* to get to this point due to how much of the story segments feel like their dragging their feet.

Maybe I'll like it a little in the end but we'll see.

Very much my thoughts on Zest myself. I do like the cast enough, but everything surrounding them feels very underdeveloped to just....really lacking.
