Addendum: after trying to find threads and related content, kinda bummed BlueSky still has not replicated or improved upon anime Twitter, especially now that JJK S3 and Frieren S2 is out.

Then I have to remember wtf i was doing in said game
I have to admit I kinda forgot about BSky for a while since observing schadenfreude during the college football season is a past time I can't ever let go.
How's everyone doing?
You got this!
it's the type of petty politics I'd expect more from an undergrad social frat org
about that...
Ignore whatever you hear from politicians: Medicaid saves lives. Medicaid gives people a fighting chance. Is it perfect? No. But cutting Medicaid will result in suffering and premature death.
No cap - there are days after work where I just want to either revamp this account or make an account to just fully indulge myself in brainrot, but I also know damn well that's an intended effect of all this negative BS out in the world today.
So how is everyone else decompressing?
As a former IB student, my favorite classes in the program were History of the Americas and 20th Century Topics. But I didn't think much of the lessons I learned from these courses would benefit me in a career in STEM apart from heightened media literacy.
So much for that naivety...
As a Texan-Wisconsinite that happens to hail from the DFW area...
Please do. I am not a Mavs fan (go Grizzlies) but I know a lot of my frat bros back in the area are still raw and hurting from the Doncic trade. Drop 50 on 'em tonight Giannis.
If your “natural immunity” is so great that you “don’t need vaccines” then why do you need to buy so many supplements and potions and veterinary pharmaceuticals? If infections aren’t actually a problem at all then why are you using horse dewormer on them?
Based on some recent social media interactions, I am feeling like this often :(

Anyone else have cognitive overload from trying to navigate the current environment while staying true to your values??

If Kendrick Lamar has taught us anything it’s that we really need more haters right now.
Check on your loved ones, your people. Take any of their concerns, even if framed as "no big deal" with seriousness.
Don't entertain misinformation; push back to the best of your abilities, for any resistance is better than apathy or full acceptance.
Get your vaccines up to date.
Get your regular checkups and cleanings - don't "schedule it later."
Get any chronic conditions under control, even if it doesn't feel "bad" yet (E.g., cholesterol, BP, blood sugar).
Re-evaluate with your HC team if your current treatments are still appropriate.
Amen.
Remember - do your part by taking care of yourself, so that you can take care of others to the best of your abilities and circumstances.
Addendum: You don't have to be a perfect pharmacist. You can make mistakes, and not necessarily beloved by all. But at the end of the day - did you do no harm? Did you help your fellow person? Did you fulfill your Oath of a Pharmacist?
When you use your role and talents as a drug information expert not to elevate the health of your patients but to promote concepts and products that are self-serving or push an ideology... you pretty much just lost the privilege of being called a pharmacist.
Not like us.
⚪️ Evangelicals mad because Kendrick showed how easy it is to call out predators on stage but they won’t do it.
Edit: Make that 1-2-3-5 (+5)
Also of note - Tim Pool is a lolcow lambasted by multiple commentary/political YouTubers and figures; not sure where he picked up an MD, DO, or PsyD in all of that span of time.

Some rays of sunshine. Best of luck. 🫡
something something "fortune favors the bold" or "skill and preparation = luck"
It really hasn't even been 5+ years ago when the Patriots (and to some extent the Rams) were being fried for "refball" and all this.
This isn't my first or even second time at the rodeo. I dealt with Ronald Reagan & George Bush trying to kill my community by ignoring the AIDS epidemic. It happened again when I lived in South Africa with Thabo Mbeki. And we won twice. So: courage. We will beat them too. Stay focused. Get to work.
When I was a Hill staffer in 2009, a Dem trifecta was trying to pass universal healthcare. In response, Senate GOP released a memo detailing all of the tactics they in the minority could use to delay the effort as much as possible. I'm recirculating that 2009 GOP memo here. Take inspiration from it.
I'm a Grizz fan but after living in Dallas for 11+ years I can understand the pain of Mavs fans. This sucks.
