It’s the grasping for words or just the wrong word coming out which is so bizarre! Luckily I teach KS1 so we can have a good laugh about it but i can imagine it would be much more frustrating with higher ages.

Maths - less is more. Not acceptable that 30% fail maths GCSE and you only need to know about 40% of the content to pass!
Play - all children are entitled to learn in a developmentally appropriate way
Curriculum - focus on ensuring all have the reading and oracy skills to thrive

Some musings about displays….. my twitter and fb feeds are full of people ‘popping into school’ to do displays… and if you work in a school where that is the expectation then by all means carry on, but… it’s always good to take a minute to think of the purpose…
