everyone deals with art block differently... i've always tried my best to not be harsh on myself when it happens without withdrawing from drawing completely. and some of my happiest progress in art came from art block periods and trying new things ^^

Everyone who tried to draw around me and started drawing LOVED it at the beginning because of their QUICK IMPROVEMENT. Then quit when they hit The Wall™️.

But it's when you hit The Wall™️ that you NEED to push through with practice!! And you gotta do it for yourself, because it's ALWAYS worth it! 😤

yey i'm glad i could be of help!! ^-^ i feel like skeb as a service has now developed into its own thing as a commission site, but knowing how it was conceptualized can make certain design features make more sense :)

the general idea is that you are tipping an artist to support them and as thanks the artist draws something for you, rather than ordering specific art from a menu with detailed pricing. this cultural context might be a helpful lens to look at the site's system!

generally skeb's system comes from japanese conventions' "スケブ" culture, which is when you bring your own sketchbook to a convention and commission an artist to draw you something on the spot irl

maybe the translation is confusing? in japanese it's "おまかせ金額" and from my understanding it's more of a "standard price" for a piece regardless of content (though i'm sure it's case by case)
