Okay so, I'm 3/4 of the way through editing my book for its developmental edit.
I've added about 11k words 😅
1. Whoever said I'd end up reducing the word count near the end - THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED.
2. I now feel like I need an entire second developmental edit 💀

Back to editing today and apparently I'm throwing caution to the wind because I've added an entire 🌶 scene and rewrote an entire chapter when my editor's feedback was just "how would this make her feel".
Had wholesome quality time with my love, good food & drink and a West end show that made me laugh till I cried 💖
It's good to remember there's a life outside of writing. I've had 3 full days away from editing my novel, my socials, even my laptop!
That being said... I'll be back to it tomorrow 😂✍️
