GTAV was big but also pretty empty with a lot of focus on the small details

Again, I think it's because GTA as a series is less of its own thing now and more like a poster child for the industry at large

I can think of a lot of reasons why GTA 6 is taking so long but the idea that it's because of their worries over having properly crafted expert satire is low on that list.
