Our favorite peeps gathered at our favorite tex mex restaurant of over 18 years and celebrated you with staff/friends who had known you since in diapers too. We felt you there with us.

The determination of an addict in active addiction is strong.
It is hard to describe but they can find a way. It is extremely heartbreaking actually when the drugs/alcohol get a hold of someone on that level.

I'm saddened to announce my son, my tall baby boy and the light of my life is no longer on earth with us.

He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I am so proud to be his mom.

It is so indescribable. The amount of understanding and strangers instantly having my back has been an unforeseen force that helps keep me fueled!

Yeah, it has been extra disturbing week.

There were multiple bodies getting ran over this morning and shooting victims lying on the frontage rds. Not including the wrecks)

Made morning traffic a nightmare.

Oh, and another body pulled from the lake this week but a female drowning.

So are multiple bodies all over the streets and sidewalks a normal thing in all cities or is Austin just having a bad week?

This is not good for my anxiety.

I only read the first sentence and already know the answer is no, they are not.

Keeping the faith! I can't let my mind get the better of me. Thank gosh for the energy to keep going.

So grateful for the support I have and thankful I'm getting to experience strangers becoming community. I'm not alone, we will find him.

I haven't said much on here. But man, the level of compassion I'm getting hoofing it around the well known bad parts of town has been almost downright wholesome and community like.

I don't anticipate this to last but it's been a surreal experience.

Perks of working in a pocket “bad area” of the city. I have diverse people skills that have come in handy as of lately in unrelated matters to my office location.

The bomb squad is at the Tesla dealership 0.3 miles from me.

I hope so. Base pay wouldn't even cover the taxes on my reported credit card tips and usually owed money at the end of the year.

I had to take a massive pay cut when I stopped waiting tables and entered 9-5 life.

I only made $2.13 an hour but made decent money because of tips and had to pay tip out based on the sales I rang up at the end of my shift. Think it is still the same.

Crisis reunions are very bittersweet.

More faith in my fellow humans. The annoying ones just mean well and show they care in their own way.

I guess that is why. Like servers don't have it rough enough with tipping decent being flagged.
I always tip well because I use to work in the service industry. So it is not an abnormal charge if my credit company is taking notes on how much I tip.

I understand my credit card company is just being proactive against bad seeds but a 33% tip isn't even overly extravagant.

I have been living a nightmare this week and a little faith in humanity restored.

Also a little astonished about the naivety of some fellow humans thinking super complicated stuff has easy answers. I’m sure they are just being nice.

I feel really bad when that happens. I try and see delivery windows for later times, but alas have had tooth brush head replacements ordered at 11pm while thinking about arrive at 5:00 AM. Should convenience really be that convenient?
