2025 Free Agent Profile: Dylan Samberg - Expected Buffalo The Buffalo Sabres are limited in what they can do with offer sheets, but Dylan Samberg is a player worth exploring as an option.

Ok sounds good

I’m simply explaining my thought process in how I view it. I could have just ignored your comment.

I thought it would be nice to explain how I view it and separate the two things while acknowledging I don’t agree with his society views.

Gotta tell you when everyone starts out they do not posses hockey operations experience. He’s there to learn, scout (he played a lot of hockey), share on-ice experiences and help recruit. Hes not make trade calls.

Tage Thompson…he’s a trump supporter. Instagram shows that. If you don’t like trump does that make him a piece of shit now too?

That’s just one example of why I stay of that part of evaluating b/c it gets convoluted to go player by player exec by exec.

11 months ago 0 0 0 0

I have no problem with it from a strictly hockey operations hire. Doesn’t mean I think he’s a great guy or agree with his society views that’s not the same thing.

You can evaluate these guys however you want. Go nuts. I’m telling how I just focus on the on-ice aspect of it b/c I can’t draw lines.

11 months ago 0 0 3 0

Ya sure that would be great but who is that going to be? If the Sabres hired Pat Kaleta (first name that came to mind) they’d be laughed at.

A lot of the fans favorite alumni have jobs and contracts elsewhere.

11 months ago 0 0 1 0

Everyone can handle it differently of course. I know how a lot of athletes think or view stuff. I don’t have a check list of each guy what their views on the world are.

11 months ago 0 0 0 0

I’m not ok with it but what do you want me to do about it? There are probably a handful of guys on the hockey team or football team that think worse things than him & we don’t know. That’s life. There are shitty ppl.

I don’t know these guys personally. I have to do my best to separate.

11 months ago 0 0 3 0

Again while I do not agree with his views that he has expressed, in the sphere of being part of a hockey front office that’s how I choose to evaluate him as a positive or negative addition to the organization.

Same goes for Reimer. Don’t agree w/ the views but I evaluate his on-ice performance.

11 months ago 0 0 1 0

All that I’ll say to you about this and to be very clear I DO NOT agree with his views.

But in the world of sports and entertainment it’s very likely you will not agree with things your favorite athlete believes or thinks. It would likely tarnish your enjoyment of sports. That’s reality. (1/2)

I can't logically put it together in my head, they're going to keep the same coaches and the same GM as the key decision maker

They can't think that's a fine plan. There's plenty of time still for changes, but history tells us...

I’m leaving this up through the end of today because I did a bad job promoting it because of a much needed vacation.

Anyways I’ll put out offseason content up against anyone. Season has been over for 18 days & we’ve put out 11 articles.

It’s worth the price of admission.

Maybe more if they take Schaefer

2025 Free Agent Profile: Vladislav Gavrikov The Buffalo Sabres will once again be in the market for a top four defenseman and Vladislav Gavrikov may be the best free agent option remaining.

Once again the Sabres will be in the market for a top 4 defenseman.

Vladislav Gavrikov is arguably the best option remaining that will be available on July 1st.

This one is free to everyone:

2025 Team Trade Breakdown: The Islanders may be on track for a rebuild The New York Islanders may be on track for a rebuild after a change with their management staff and have a few interesting trade options for the Sabres.

The Islanders are making changes to their front office.

There’s not a lot on their roster that interests me but there’s 1 forward and 1 defenseman that could make sense for them if they’re made available this summer.

The Kraken are going through a transition phase again. This time in their front office.

They could be open to shaking up their roster. There’s two forwards and a defenseman that I think could interest the Sabres if that’s the case.

People liked this package last year so it’s back again. I’ll probably keep it live through the end of next week.

Front office addition options for the Buffalo Sabres The Buffalo Sabres may be making changes to their front office. It's likely just some role changes but here are some outside options to consider.

I still think it’s likely the Sabres just change titles and nothing significant from an outside addition occurs in the front office.

I did put together a list of GM & advisor options for them in case.

One has some times to current FO members.

2025 Free Agent Profile: Anthony Mantha If the Buffalo Sabres are looking to take a low-cost gamble on a forward, Anthony Mantha could be a good option but he has injury concerns.

The Sabres have historically done their UFA work in the second or third tier of unrestricted free agency under Adams.

Anthony Mantha could be worth a gamble on a low salary contract but the injury concerns may be too much to overlook.

We have a Buffalo Sabres playoff drought bracket champion. It was the tournament's top seed and was never challenged throughout.

Lucic hit on Miller takes the crown.

A Sabres front office deck shuffle could be on the way There are reports that the Buffalo Sabres front office will undergo some changes this offseason. Kevyn Adams likely remains but roles could change.

Elliotte Friedman had some interesting comments today about a potential front office shakeup.

Adams likely remains in the organization but other roles could change.

I go over the “promotion” plan I heard about last year & other guesses on changes.

Sabres make it official. Jiri Kulich has been assigned to the Amerks along with Noah Ostlund, Tyson Kozak, and Isak Rosen.

Mock Offseason 1.0 | Starting off with a blockbuster The Buffalo Sabres have a lot of questions once again heading into the offseason. I try to tackle some of them in my first mock offseason.

I put way too much time into this probably. I went through like 10 different ideas and landed here for mock offseason 1.0 for the Sabres.

They probably won’t do all of this but it was fun to consider.
