When I watched March of the Penguins with my dad, we learned that they take turns being on the inside & outside of the huddle so everyone gets a chance to warm up. My dad said “sometimes, animals are better than humans.” #Penguins are exactly the mascot we need to remind us to care for one another.

Inspectors General are key public servants tasked with holding our government accountable. They’re independent, nonpartisan whose work is identifying fraud, waste, & importantly, abuse. Trump just fired them all. Make no mistake: he's purging those who will protect the rule of law.
First they came for the immigrants, and I spoke out, because I’ve read the damn poem before and I know how it ends.
Jesus used His power to protect, to expose, and to restore dignity. He calls His people to be in the world using our power under His authority, displaying His character by speaking truth, shedding light, and tending and protecting the vulnerable.
When we hear justifications, excuses, blaming, or a focus on the sins of another, we can be sure we do not have true repentance.
