you sure can! thats actually how they made cels for awhile and what gives 101 dalmatians (and that era) that kinda sketchy pencil look, they were printing the cleaned up pencil lines

its really hard to line directly on the cel! ive tried for years hah i find its super sensitive and hard to control

i think ive seen some of your painted cel work! i always love seeing other people paint cels

thank you! i think the lines are tripping people out haha i lined it traditionally on paper, scanned, and then printed them on the transparency sheet. then i flip over and paint the back with acrylics
