Had a great time creating this diorama. Took about a month and used a combination of GW models, 3D printing and traditional scratch building techniques.

It will now proudly sit on my shelf for years to come.

What's better than turning a string of plastic into a murderous death walker?

Diorama progress! First stage of ground cover done and swatch of paint on the terrain. Simple purple from the top and then flipped and green from the bottom.

Next up glueing in terrain and blending it in and making more models to fill in.

Then. Detail. Detail. Detail.

Have not painted a monster like this before but quite happy. Skin is Malignant Green (Army painter speed paints) and covers Vallejo streaking grim. Organs are slaughter red and Blood Red.

Bones and horn are my favourite Pallid Bone.

Sword is Leadbelcher with Agrax Earthshade.

I prayed to the Omnisiah all 13 hours. A failed support, flickering lights and kids playing too close to the printer weren't enough to dent my faith in the machine spirit.

Good Mordheim terrain (according to this novice) tells a story and allows for fighting all over.

This particular townhouse belonged to a merchant and after the fall became a refuge for a local goblin gang.

That is until the merchant's son came with a pack of mercenaries to take it back.

My first ever 'digital kitbash' isn't exactly luxurious but it will be super useful in my Mordheim crafting.

Basically just taking these wood beams and making them longer.

Balsa wood is expensive here so this is an affordable way to get some crafting materials.

Work in progress of a Mordheim style ruined building. Keen to spray it up and start painting. Not sure what scheme I want.

Plan is to base it on an openlock tile so I can connect is all together.
