It just doesn’t seem as loud due to other noise and change of surroundings, I think they now play it off a CD!

Today’s FB feed also offers up Zhivago’s Niteclub aka Tiffany’s in the Vic Centre circa 1979… (next to The Reject Shop, make of that what you will).

Nottingham peeps: this is a fascinating 30 mins listen about the Vic Centre. Sad that I didn't get to the Tudor slash Western themed Berni Inn.

Really wanted this crime book set in the 1950s to be good, but a character just told someone to “Enjoy!” And someone else referred to “banter” in a way that sounded like they said it yesterday. Why am I like this?

Middle age shout out. Is there no free app with common physio exercises where I can follow spoken instructions so I don’t have to stare at a piece of A4 with my reading glasses on while I try to unkink my neck?

Anonymous door in Deptford.

Anonymous door in Deptford.

The former Underhill Studios, Deptford. Bowie, Iggy Pop and Lou Reed rehearsed here. Now part of a chemist's shop and used as a store room for pharmaceuticals, which seems appropriate.

Yeah novelty hot cross buns, whatever, but have you tried enlivening a disappointing HCB by slicing it and making it into French toast? No photo coz I ate it.

True story. A few years ago I sold him a blade for his old Flymo on eBay and we had a lot of trouble getting the courier to find the entrance to the Crass compound so had a brief correspondence, I really wanted to ask about Crass but thought it might be an imposition.

Tour guide woes: some students (?) in the building above my stop decided to scream throughout a section of my tour yesterday. Now can’t decide if I’m paranoid and they weren’t screaming because of me, if it was some sort of weird orgy, or if today’s youth just don’t got no respect.
