There are going to be a lot of intersex cis women, especially from the global south, who will be ruled ineligible and then subjected to terrible discrimination or worse in their home countries. Prior sex testing regimes have resulted in suicides and ruined lives.

IOC policy is a manifestation of the brutal fact that sex/gender is a colonial and colonizing framework. It divides women from each other, it strips women of their sovereignty, dignity and threatens the movement that is women’s sports. Policy like this sex test is the true enemy of women’s sports.
