Another word you might use for it is "looting".

"This appears to be the first administration to take such widespread advantage of taxpayer-funded military housing to accommodate political appointees who do not have a direct connection to the military..."

The injunction is silent as to the use
of force. And it is not necessary for the injunction to address
that use-of-force question because the Fourth Amendment’s
reasonableness standard continues to govern the officers’
use of force and to prohibit excessive force.
To the extent that excessive force has been used, the
Fourth Amendment prohibits such action, and remedies
should be available in federal court. I agree with the
dissent on that point. But to reiterate, this injunction
against brief stops for questioning does not address the useof-force issue.

It's not the most important part of the issue but Kavanaugh saying "well they should just sue if they're the victims of excessive force from ICE" when he himself has previously voted to bar lawsuits against federal officers for violations of the 4th Amendment in immigration cases takes chutzpah.

At least 5 people killed in Jerusalem shooting: Live updates | CNN The shooting happened along a major highway shortly after morning rush hour. Follow for live updates

www.cnn.com/world/live-n...
Let me be clear, in no way do I condone this attack
Still, it’s interesting. That six people being killed in Jerusalem is major news while dozens to hundreds of people dying in Gaza daily is left uncovered or buried as filler.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia detained by ICE during Baltimore check-in The detention, which was expected, happened after Abrego Garcia walked into the Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in Baltimore for a check-in after being released from custody on Friday.

Let’s be clear: deporting Kilmar Abrego Garcia to Uganda makes no sense—it’s not his home country. Nothing about this process has been fair. ICE is targeting him with cruelty. This is the weaponization of government, not justice.

Wow! Congress is actually attempting to do something! In a rare bipartisan stand to defend its own authority, lawmakers are quietly pushing back against Trump’s attempt to take control of the Library of Congress.

Sometimes you just have to ask—why? The Senate voted to strike down a rule capping most bank overdraft fees at $5, a measure introduced by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that was expected to save Americans billions each year.

By moving to the “center,” Democrats have failed to fight the forces that led us to Trump: widening inequality and the unchecked power of billionaires.

There's no "center" anymore between a takeover of the government by oligarchs and true freedom.

Dems need to learn this.

I just signed the first bill of the year: lowering costs for small grain buyers.

Prosperity for our ag community is not a partisan issue. I’m glad to see legislators come together in a bipartisan way to get this done.

Opinion | Trump upending world order will cost America dearly The decline of American influence is a gift to Russia and China.

The cover-up…

USAID officials were ordered to destroy classified documents, raising concerns about compliance with federal law. An internal email sent to remaining bureau leaders at the agency’s Washington headquarters provided guidance on “clearing our classified safes and personnel documents.”
