Why would anyone expect a public service to make money?
If we're going to use this as a standard, how much money did the RCMP and the Canadian Armed Forces "lose" in the past eight years?
RCMP marks its 106th straight annual loss. Canadian Armed Forces marks its 58th straight annual loss.
That's what happens with a government service. It's not a for profit business.

Nothing proves how capitalism has brain rotted everyone than thinking the post office, hospitals, public transit, libraries, etc. need to turn a profit to be worthwhile.

I sent in my renewal application just before the new year and then was super sick when it arrived. I totally forgot about it until a couple weeks ago and then had a faint recollection of my wife handing it to me in a fever dream. I had to double check the drawer to verify it’s there.

Ideally everyone who has car and/or bike insurance had worked with a professional that’s insisted on that conversation. The basic coverages simply aren’t enough for a lot of people.

Insist on reviewing and increasing the optional accident benefits if he’s getting a bike. Income replacement, indexation, coverage for medical costs, etc are essential.
Especially when both of them have proven to not have any success so far.
