My longest friendship is from preschool (I was 3, she was 4) and I also have friends from high school. It’s really special to grow and change over many years with friends.

I have this conversation with my students each year & one of them put it best: “Art can start a conversation, but it can’t finish it.” Also, we look at art created by people in awful times/places as documentation of what it was like to live through it. Contributing to that record means something.
I haven’t thought to use my Aquaphor stick on top of lotion; going to log off and try it and hope it helps because I am at an artist residency and I keep having to shake new people’s hands and mine are so dry 🫠

I’ve been collecting examples of AI hallucinations because I think a lot of people still don’t know that it makes things up??? Like, not even all the faculty at Summer Course (Re)Design knew that. And if I can’t dissuade students from using AI I hope to get them to at least check its work 🙃
I also sometimes can’t pay people bc they give up on the vendor system 🫠
