It’s…a really tough time right now for entry level folks. Have they done game jams or projects? It might be good to have them in participate in some and get some projects in their portfolio. It’ll show whether they like the work and if they do, have stuff to show when applying to places.

Sigh, if we find folks a year or so from now lamenting why it takes so long and so much resources to make a video game, we can most definitely point to all the recent layoffs leading to an experience drain in the industry.
Ok. Enough time has gone from shipping where I feel like I could play a long game. Diving into Metaphor (I know super late), multiple hours in and I’m just waiting to level up social links. That’s in the game…right?

This is awesome! Loving the bits of developer insight that you're providing in this video! I can't get over HOW folks find these, and then not get into a stuck state and is able to use it to get through the game quickly. It's amazing.
