This is exactly right. Serious question: What can we do about it?
Of course, the Republicans are bad at being human beings, so ...
Democrats are so bad at communication, which makes them bad at politics. This shouldn't be difficult.
Only to punch some Nazis.
I’m gonna enjoy this now because you know douche is gonna ruin it.
M. Night’s Glass. I still get angry thinking about it.
Yes, I meant his current office, but I wasn’t clear.
Another cost of gerrymandering: Candidates running for these safe, gerrymandered seats run a race to be the "most" Republican -- which currently means a race to the gutter. In a competitive district, this sort of reprehensible person would never stand a chance of being elected.
I know some Democrats see Conway as a former Republican and believe he's not left enough on many policy positions. I understand that. But he's one of the few people currently participating in Democratic politics who understand this is what has to happen.
They know what they're doing to the rest of us, and they know if everyone ever wakes up and realizes it, they'll need that kind of security. It's the Epstein Class and the rest of us, and they're doing everything they can to keep us in our place.
I’m not sure I agree, but I appreciate your perspective. I actually think voters will seek out the opposite of Trump - and that’s principled, intelligent, competence. I also think Pete is smart enough to understand what must be done. We’ll see.
What about Pete?
The amount of money and influence spent to prevent progress in this country is staggering.
Same here, but we don’t have that luxury. This Celtics fan greatly appreciates the way you use your platform.
Take two minutes and watch this. Please.
Right now from the far left to center right the only divisions I care about are: Team fight vs Team don’t fight. Opposition vs politics as usual.
and it’s not a division that maps to precious ideological categories.
Really need everyone to take a good look at how well the richest people in America have done in the last year.
The rest of us got higher healthcare and electric bills, food assistance cuts, price hikes, and ICE terrorizing our communities.
What are we doing here?
Call me whatever you want, but it sure seems like a cabal of billionaire pedophile Nazis seized control of a global superpower…and now they’re murdering Americans in the street, arresting journalists, and setting up a network of concentration camps across the United States.
I think what both the second Trump administration and the Epstein files have taught us is that there’s very little need of covertness or secrecy if everyone with power pretends you aren’t doing what you’re doing when you openly tell them what you’re doing
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
Finally, someone gets it.
there is no hell hot enough
I don’t think we should make concessions to the Masked Murderers Guild of America. I don’t think we should compromise so the Masked Murderers Guild of America stops using kidnapped kids from schools as bait. I thought this was already illegal. The Masked Murderers Guild of America should not exist.
Stephen Miller wasn't in the meeting, but the comms team was. This tells you this isn't a policy shift, it was just a meeting to figure out how to sell the bullshit better. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/26/us/noem-trump...
In all seriousness, how can it be that the official now in charge in Minnesota was caught by the FBI on video taking $50,000 to steer government business, and walking out with the money, which we still haven't seen. How is he still working in Administration, not to mention not behind bars?
If only this were satire.
Ian Austin, an Army veteran, was arrested for protesting ICE in Minneapolis. But he’s continued protesting. Senior reporter @julialurie.bsky.social spoke to him.
“When they say, ‘Why would you be out here?’ How the fuck could I not be out here?” he says. “My nation is under attack."
Exactly right.
