Saturday is the biggest protest day of the Trump Regime. If you can participate, please do.
In my inner circles I am hearing fear about being in a large crowd. Therefore, this week I will use this platform to post some history, resistance tips, and encourage as many of you as possible to show up.
Article excerpt: When police used stun batons to hit garment workers seeking a $14 monthly raise from a Nike factory in Cambodia in 2013, reportedly leading one pregnant woman to miscarry, Nike said it was “deeply concerned.” The following year, when Cambodian police opened fire and killed four garment workers during widespread demonstrations over low wages, Nike and other brands sent the government a letter expressing “grave concern.”
Despite repeatedly raising concerns about labor rights, Nike has grown its presence in Cambodia from about 16,000 factory workers in May 2013 to more than 57,000 as of March.

My grandfather was born prior to insulin being invented (as a medication). It fascinates me, as he & his cousin had to fight to survive. His cousin was a little older and unfortunately died. I just cannot imagine, but so much worse that we HAVE IT & people can’t access it.
Political Cartoon. On the left, Kristi Noem is standing at a podium and says, “If any person, regardless of political party, influence or status, assaults a law enforcement officer you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.” To the right, rioters are pictured in front of the United States Capitol, holding flags that say, “Jan. 6”, “Trump”, as well as the United States flag and the Confederate flag. Above this picture says, “Unless it’s in service to Dear Leader…”
Leaving the far more dangerous and insidious Russell Vought to continue the billionaires’ mission to destroy American government from within.
The Kochs knew Trump couldn’t be trusted — he had the worst business reputation in America. Hence the so-called “Federalist Society list” of SCOTUS noms (in which the FedSoc had no actual role) to lock Trump in publicly — also Leo/McGahn/Koch orchestrated.

A new bat coronavirus that has the capacity to spread to humans, similar to the one that caused the COVID-19 pandemic, has been discovered by a Chinese researcher.
Good thing we are completely prepared this time. www.newsweek.com/new-coronavi...

It is Saturday! Affirmation Coyote hopes you have plans, even if they consist of no plans.
They note that it is also National Margarita Day.
Pretty sure this is how you form city community.
Weekends are meant for playing 😂
Bus skipped two stops. Several us have pressed the buttons requesting for a stop. 🤷🏻 Anyways, the riders have now had to shout at him because he wouldn’t stop 🙃
😭 someone else was getting off at the same stop. Saved. I escaped bus limbo!
You made it to Friday evening!
Affirmation Coyote never had any doubts.
Get in some chill time and think about your weekend plans.
Got on a busline I don’t normally use. No clear way to request to stop. Anyways, I live here now.
And that is just the sheer ineptitude of city bureaucracy in Los Angeles that me saying “I don’t know, but they’re all ORANGE” & at no point did she manage to point out that the ORANGE line existed.
Apps don’t list the line name. It’s JUST ORANGE COLOR. Bus orange. App just lists a bus # & color.
Before a lot of smartphone bus use. And she kept giving options (Glendale, Santa Monica, etc), and I’m like: the normal ones? The orange ones. There’s only ONE ORANGE BUSLINE. I’ve never seen the name listed ever.
One of the other commuters dryly said: it’s called the orange line
Sometimes I think about the time in a community meeting about public transpo, I had a comment about the main busline in LA & the host from the city kept asking what busline (not the #, the cityline) & I kept saying “I don’t know: the orange ones!?” 🧵
Relieved that it's finally Friday 😄
A world without howls is a world without happiness 🐺
This story can't be repeated enough. The GOP is lined up behind the guy who is so incompetent that his quasi-gov't agency did this. They're confirming his highly questionable nominees & hurting the American people.
And "accidentally"? It was stupidity, not accident. www.nbcnews.com/politics/dog...
#TGIFE 😉
Every time I get off the bus and notice someone scurrying to it, able to get on, knowing the only reason why was because I needed the stop.. Joy. (Often the bus is on time, so it’s someone always running late.)
Sunday morning rain is falling 🎶
