Reading wise, my favorite reads this year was all the Joe Abercrombie I finished. I’ve read 7 of his 9 books in the age of madness first law series. Insanely talented writing exploring the world of grey we all truly exist in. Likable characters who do truly evil things. I suggest the read

Just truly emotional lyrics, driving through trends of self expression, self identification, and self loathing. even the way they start the record “I won’t survive this” shows just how much of a need the lyricists and vocalists had to get their words out there. The record rules

I’ll probably post more about my albums of the year on my personal instagram but I need to show my love for @sadsnack.bsky.social ‘s new album. I promise it’s not because of my friendship with their drummer. This record is a phenomenal blend of ska and emo. Truly talented playing backed by passion

I beat resident evil 4 remake today and let me tell you. Re4 still is my favorite game of all time

I’m reading American Hardcore by Steven Blush. It’s so funny. So many reviews are like “he only likes his era of music doesn’t think anything good happened after”. And all I could think is “of course, have you met any fan of niche music” it’s a delightful read and fun
