One key takeaway from the National Center for Collective Bargaining Conference: unions need their own budget committees. Independent eyes on where the money comes from, where it goes, and whether student-centered employees are being invested in — or squeezed out by top-heavy administration.

California's Ed Code once allowed governing boards to terminate adjunct faculty without cause, without warning. AB 1028 removed that clause.
