HPSF Year in Review: Trilinos 🔨
Trilinos completed major modernization work in 2025, transitioning core linear algebra to implementations built on Kokkos. In 2026 the project is preparing the 17.0 release with improved performance, CI, and build reproducibility.

HPSF Year in Review: Spack 📦
Spack delivered major usability and dependency management improvements with the 1.0 and 1.1 releases in 2025. In 2026 the focus is on refining workflows and improving support for shared Spack deployments.

OpenCHAMI expanded its governance with new industry participation and increased adoption in 2025. In 2026 the project is adding microservice capabilities, deeper inventory management, and more community events.

HPSF Year in Review: Modules 🧰
Modules clarified project structure and released version 5.6 with a new hierarchy mechanism in 2025. In 2026 the project is growing its steering committee and delivering performance improvements with closer ties to Spack and EESSI.
