Yeah, I mean that's the sensible thing to do rather than just going "they must have hung up" or "oh well, never mind" or assuming the person can/will call back.

This is true. The OP in this case is v likely in the latter group. I feel I know & do better as a result of SM but, come to think of it, what I've learned has been a) directly from trans folk &/or b) from OP's. I don't think I've learned anything from comments on v divisive posts!!
Your CMHT do sound absolutely atrocious. I can understand feeling too defeated by poor service to ask for help. I also feel quite angry at them. You deserve so much better x
I had a call drop once, probably bcs the reception in my flat is woeful, & later read in my notes that the team assumed I had hung up π€·ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ

It shouldn't have to come to that, but there's no shame in it!
As in the call disconnected & she didn't try to call back?
Oh, strike that, I was thinking of Olanzapine!
Jeez, that's awful.
I wonder what would happen if, when you speak to the receptionist next, you left a message saying you were struggling with side effects/thinking of stopping Q/requesting a meds review. π€
Good advice!! I always think "well, even if I don't convince the OP, I might convince someone reading". But I'm not sure I ever do & it comes at a cost, incl, I've just realised, the risk of feeding the algorithmπ¬
Well, quite. Also, if I ever mention having gone on mumsnet again, please could you confiscate all my devices!
Not transphobia that time, OCD stigmaπ
Not even with meds! Bl*ody hell, I knew they were bad but...
Also arguing with transphobes on FB is not very conducive to a steady HR π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ
Well done!!
I'm still trying to get myself vertical. Orthostatic intolerance is not v conducive to outsiding. But I will persist!
Oh, I was thinking he might be inexperienced or have been less well trained. So much for that theory!

Well, I guess I'd better get myself out for a little #GetTheFckOutside π
And yeah, definitely not running!
Am also up for non competitive buddyship!
This sounds about right. My GP is excellent, and (almost) entirely uninterested in the financial bonuses & has basically said, of my high cholesterol, "it's not your biggest problem right now, we'll address it once your OCD has improved and you're in a better place to make changes"

Weird question, but how old was he?
Oh, poo!
I mean, pain does get worse with lack of sleep, but to equate that with sleep hygiene is all you need is ... a stretch!
I'm sorry Doodle, he sounds quite incompetent!
to reduce the weight gain. I'm thinking metformin but I could be easily wrong on that!! It's unfair there isn't more support xx
Oh, lovely, sending a big hug & drug-induced weight gain solidarity.
I think Q esp bad for weight gain, so I'm wondering whether switching, rather than stopping altogether, might be something to discuss with GP/CMHT. I know your CMHT is abysmal though. There are meds you can take alongside >
Gremlin present and correct (phew!). Bit spooked by the gravity water dispenser π @luckyerica3.bsky.social @willow41.bsky.social

Me too. There's been another boar on the scene, plus I saw a car go past on the trail cam about the time he arrives, so those, esp the car, are the two things I'm most worried about.
This little gremlin (furthest from the camera) is late and I'm worried!

Pretty much nothing, imo, would be just as bad as the Tories. Except for Reform, which would be worse.
Which leaves a bit of a dilemma for voting: vote with my heart (not Labour) vs vote Labour to keep Reform out π
Sounds about right. Sigh. I seem to have developed morning sickness & migraine symptoms most days for the last few weeks. Not sure if it's hormonal or related to orthostatic intolerance. Definitely not pregnant!
