The smarmy use of word “inconvenience” should offend you. I felt the same when I recently saw the term “paper books” used in a similarly amused way.

There’s a struggle over the word “progressive” — on one side you have folks who want it to mean virtue signaling & subjective beliefs;

on the other you have folks who are trying to legislate real change so the subjective belief translates into material gains for ordinary working class people.
