Authorities must immediately restore internet access.
This will have a disastrous impact on many vulnerable people who need this support to survive.
Poverty is not an accident. It has been engineered into our society by political choice.
We need a social security system based on human rights that ensures everyone has enough to live with dignity.
And there's more bad news... changes to Universal Credit today mean that support for people who are disabled or have a health condition will be drastically reduced.
Those claiming Universal Credit for the first time will only get half of what people currently get - around £2,550 less per year.
With 4 million children living in poverty in the UK, lifting the two-child limit still doesn’t go far enough.
The UK Government need to end all policies that are keeping children in poverty, such as the benefit cap and sanctions.
We’re demanding justice for Iranians.
Attacks on civilians in Iran, whether by Iranian authorities or directed by authorities in Washington or Tel Aviv, must be stopped.
The UK government must intensify diplomatic efforts to help prevent further military escalation and protect civilians.

However, in recent years these hard won rights have been eroded. Many in power and the media have used trans people as a political football.

We must stand together against antisemitism in all its forms - whether it appears as violence, vandalism, abuse, or rhetoric.
Amnesty is joining forces with others to take a stand together in the Together Alliance.
This pattern reflects a wider climate in which hatred, intimidation, and division are becoming more visible and more emboldened - whether directed at Jewish communities or other minoritised groups.
These appalling acts of violence should have no place in our society. They are not isolated incidents but part of a deeply troubling rise in antisemitism & hate crime more broadly. In recent years, the UK has seen thousands of antisemitic incidents annually, with levels remaining near record highs.
We stand together against antisemitism in all its forms whether it appears as violence, vandalism, abuse or rhetoric.
Our thoughts are with the Jewish community following the horrifying arson attack in Golders Green, where emergency vehicles serving the community were deliberately targeted. Such an attack - carried out against those who exist to save lives - is deeply shocking.
