I'm arguing that you, and others, shouldn't be carrying water for a candidate on social media when that candidate isn't committed enough to do the fairly minimal work required to have her name appear on the ballot.

All she had to do to get on the ballot is to collect 2,000 signatures. That's not a lot. Municipal ballot questions in Portland often hand in over 2,000 signatures. Portland has fewer than 70,000 residents. Maine has over 1.3 million.
