He did not “escalate rhetoric” and he didn’t “taunt”. Taunting is saying someone is fat or weak. He gave an unhinged rant and threatened “hell” and widespread war crimes. How is this difficult, @nytimes.com?

In fact, he won this beautiful Cogswell Rowing belt so many times that it became his to keep. The belt was commissioned by Halifax alderman Charles Cogswell in 1858. It was made in England with additional decorative work by Halifax silversmith Julius Cornelius.
