I stopped the cunts. Told them they drive better or turn around and head back. They stopped being cell ends and got us to the island, I then spent the rest of the week climbing 60m masts, so that probably didn’t help my shoulder either.

The cunt driver was hitting waves and bouncing us all over, throwing my tool kit and back pack about. Trying to hold everything pulled my arm at one point, and proper hurt my shoulder.

The boat incident was only about 6 months ago, so it was feeling weak before then. I was with the military heading to some island to check out some cameras. The boat driver was driving like a cunt, on a shit boat. & I was trying to hold onto my toolkit, so it didn’t fuck off.

It turns out I’ve ripped some other tendon at the back, not sure how. But I think it was at work on a boat. So I’ve got to go back next week and get done physio moves specifically for this tendon. Then I could be as good as new again 😊 I was worried I was gonna end up with some crazy operation.

Went for the results yesterday, the doctor doesn’t believe I ever had any rotator cuff damage, or that I even had an operation? Though he then admitted they must have. To explain the missing bone. Apparently my rotator cuff looks better than most folks my age. Lots of good muscle apparently.

So I have the MRI done, that night I get a weird phone call. The Dr examining my MRI results wants to know when the accident happened, & how many operations happened. So I’m thinking “fuck, it must be a right mess!”.

So i thought I best go to the doctor, explained the history, as best i remember. He did an x ray, all good. Told me it was probably just diabetes or B12 deficiency? did a blood test, everything came back good. So I was sent for an MRI.

Until about a year ago. I started to feel it, it felt weak. Didn’t slow me down though. But then 3 months ago it got proper fucked. I can’t lift my arm above shoulder height with out difficulty, I can get it up, but it’s slow.

They told me I’d probably not get full movement back, and would suffer later on in life. I got full movement back within a couple of months. And haven’t really suffered since. Though I can tell it’s messed up, I don’t let it impede me.

The clavicle was like a knife, a sharp serrated blade, hacking away every time I moved my shoulder. So they took a couple of inches off, smoothed it off, and cut away all the scar tissue inside. They reckoned they took half a stone of flesh & bone out of me.

It took them years before they’d even investigate the aftermath. In 2003 they took a look inside & realised the mess they’d made had fucked my rotator cuff up. So they finally went back in to tidy it up.

Which fucked up the pins & k-wire straight away. They then wouldn’t go back in and fix anything, or even tidy up when they took the pins and wire out. It fucked my military career up a bit, I was fit as fuck till the injury.

I fucked my shoulder up back in the mid 90s, arctic warfare training, (fucking about in skis), ripped tendons off my clavicle, messed it all up. The German doctors pinned me back together. But then the Military doctors sent me straight back to work.

Just seen, turns out there was an actual attack on Bluesky, that was probs the issue I was seeing then.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, as it didn’t start like the film I’d expected it to be, after only seeing the trailer. But it proper sucked me in. And it was genuinely nice, unlike 90% of movies nowadays.
