He spits out the poison. “You dedicated your lives to killing me. You have me now, do you not? Come on, Head Jeon,” he bites the title out like a curse. “Come finish what you started.” The Alpha is growling; the other wolves are just as menacing as they prowl around Jimin, waiting for the right moment to pounce. They’re smart to be cautious, because even though Jimin has no silver on him, he doesn’t need it to kill them at a moment’s notice. “What are you waiting for?” Jimin raises to his full height, sharpening his swords against each other with a grating warning. “You had me earlier and you let me go. Will you make the same mistake twice?” His lips curl. “Or should I say, thrice.” Enraged, the Alpha lunges at him, but Taemin and Jongin jump in front of Jimin before the wolf can reach him. They use the handle of their swords to block it before kicking into its chest and sending it tumbling away. The Alpha rolls back to its feet and the other wolves snarl at the three vampires. Both Taemin and Jongin let blood pump to their eyes, veins thickening with compulsion. It’s a feat with so many wolves, but they manage to have everyone frozen in their tracks. “You’re tipping him over,” Taemin says evenly, “and you will not survive.”
