The Halifax waterfront was HOPPING today - so great to see. It was One Port City Day and lots of activities going on. Love the vibrant waterfront.

So we drove downtown this morning to deliver something. Traffic was slow - it’s busy downtown today (which is great). But on our route bike lanes weren’t impeding the flow of traffic, it was all the construction. Should we put a moratorium on that too?

Halifax Infirmary Emergency Department (1840 Bell Rd., Halifax) on Sunday, May 4 from 8:30 p.m. – 11:15 p.m.

It is important to note that anyone who may have been at the Halifax Infirmary Emergency Department during these times and is pregnant, immunocompromised, or under the age of 12 months old should contact Public Health immediately (902-481-5824).

Nova Scotia Public Health has confirmed a case of measles in Halifax. Measles is highly contagious & transmitted through the air when people breathe, talk, sing, etc. In addition to vaccination, a well-fitted mask & improved ventilation help with infection control.
