i quit this job today. i have spent over a month putting in 10+ days, 6 days a week and only have $600 to show for it. my final straw was spending 5 hours in meetings listening to someone brag about living in a penthouse, followed by him saying "don't even say we're selling XYZ."

I also!!!! found really cute label templates on Etsy that I bought. I'm a lot in love with them and I'm really excited to start testing the formula I have in mind. I can't wait to have the final product in tubes with these cute as heck labels. 🥰

I just want nice, safe, neutral flavors that will take care of the oily/buttery flavor that natural lip balm ingredients give. (Beeswax, shea butter, etc.)

If all else fails... Maybe I can just do everything in peppermint anyway?

I was thinking about doing a little bundle of maybe four different lip balms, each one with its own flavor. I'm 100% set on peppermint, but I'm not really finding anything else that suits my fancy. I'm also not sure what is even /ideal/ for lip balm flavors.

I want to make lip balm for Christmas to give to family and friends, but I'm struggling to find a quality selection of flavor oils. I'm not really sure what I want tbh. I figured having a decent selection and narrowing it down from there was a good start.

I've been on bluesky for a year and a half, and I had been on twitter since 2008 before I quit last November. So speaking as someone who is pretty experienced with both I am much happier here. The moderation tools and general vibe here tend to discourage gratuitous drama and trolling.
