See that’s the point… once the business owners are accountable for illegally hiring and taking advantage of people…. I predict a radical change will be made that turns illegal immigrants into acknowledged and treated fairly the workers that are curtly being exploited.

If immigration officers were allowed to arrest illegal immigrant employers - the problem of illegal immigration would suddenly find real solutions - hint: its not a wall.

The business owners whose employees stay home due to the fear of ICD should be prosecuted for Illegal Employment. For every illegal immigrant working in the country there is a business owner who has hired them illegally. Lock them up and suddenly a solution to illegal immigration will be found.

Insurance companies will increase insurance rates across the country—because they can. I think it will only contribute to reduced housing options for many more people across the country.

Zuck will do everything he can to keep Meta stock meeting or exceeding the expectations of Wall Street. That includes destroying US democracy, world peace, and the future of the planet to stay in control of Facebook. If this is a surprise to you, you haven't been paying attention.

Only through AI Bots that's for sure.

My thought is - the Democrats really screwed up. Its so obvious to everyone that the Democrats have absolutely no clue how to counter Trumpism. We're left with a nation of people resigned to their fate.... like holocaust victims who just got off the train at Auschwitz.

January 6th was a crime against our nation. Pardoning these people is inevitable...not forgivable.

Think about it... Greenland as a state. Two senators, One congress person - maybe that's what he needs to have a significant enough majority in congress to pass his will.

For each contributor they get relief from tariff's, relief from regulation, relief from Elon, relief from all the crap Trump can unleash. This is Oligarch America. Welcome to Russia.

I believe this is an intentional distraction. Its a magicians trick - look at this thing I'm doing with one hand, in the mean time the other hand is busy. Trump has collected at least $200m for his inauguration....what party can cost $200m (oops $600m for bezos wedding)?

How can our society survive if people can profit off of providing destructive information to our society?

Today I deleted Threads and Instagram from my phone. I haven't pulled the rug under FB yet, but I am definitely not going to open it unless I have to. This is our only defense.

ChatGPT gave advice to infamous neo-Nazi on how to attack U.S. electrical grid The chatbot deemed it America's most vulernable target when asked by Rinaldo Nazzaro.

AI is the rage. But what are its limits and liabilities? Here's an example of a claimed Neo-Nazi using ChatGPT to identify the most vulnerable target in the US. Shouldn't ChatGPT be liable for providing tactics to terrorists? www.dailydot.com/debug/neo-na... #AI #ChatGPT #LiabilityLaw

I’m not sure what engagement really means but I’ll leave a comment to see if it encourages other comments hoping other people will also comment

Trump Has Reeled in More Than $200 Million Since Election Day The president-elect has boasted about the donations for his inauguration, library and political activities from those seeking favor or perhaps in some cases, atonement.

Supposedly Trump has pulled in $200 million since the election according to the NY Times www.nytimes.com/2025/01/04/u...

Trump is a master at getting people to vote against their own self interest.

Ha! I had a typo in my original reply. I meant to say: The system has become so OVERTLY corrupt.

As far as history goes… you’re right. If you don’t teach history you will repeat it.

Outright corruption. This is just bribery for the first day in office. The United States is falling apart.

The system has become so overly corrupt. It’s like a reenactment of the fall of Rome.

My wife and I travel extensively and use Rick Steves books and audio guides consistently. The books provide so much good information for us to decide what we want to see while there. It’s daunting to visit a new place and figure a strategy of how best to see it. The books help tremendously.

It is an ethical mistake to not disclose a report like this. If it is fact based it should be disclosed.

Argh - I'm guilty of donating old crappy books. My library has a $1 book bag sale where they sell old crappy books to anyone who could use them. I thought I was helping the world. You've dashed my dreams.
