Oh sorry. I’ve been 44 for a while. 45 is closer now. 😂

I am 44 years old and today me and my son had our third skateboarding lesson and I am loving it.
This is a loving and gentle reminder to try the stuff you wanna do but are scared of.
Already on my fourth listen of the new Angine de Poitrine record this morning. I’m a bit late to this band, but feel I’ve actually timed it impeccably.
I had a charger installed at home and that takes away about 90% of complexity. Mrs L needs to charge on her longer work trips but often charges at the office or hotel and often for free. Other times we use Electroverse and it works well.

THOUGHT. LEADERSHIP.
I’m not generally one for saying video-games are art, because I’m still not convinced they are, but Dispatch is the closest I’ve gotten.
Thoroughly enjoyable, well written, incredible animation and top-notch cast.
I give it two thumbs up. 👍 👍

And things that want to eat you. Don’t forget that Peter, very important. 😂
I’m not ruling out resuming hostilities in league two next year.
I had no such compunction and took the ahem, low hanging fruit.
Penis-town?
I have a Rotring 600 in a nice green colour and it’s very nice and wasn’t too expensive.
I’m incredibly late to the party here but Scavenger’s Reign (available on Netflix) is absolutely incredible science fiction and far and away the best imagining of alien life I’ve ever seen on screen.
Highly recommend.
A brilliant story, but what strikes me most immediately is that this man looks like @dasbarrett.bsky.social did a time travel.
It motivated me to talk to my data hero, Dan Barrett at an open data event once.
I remember reviewing the transcript of a call we had with our IT Ops colleagues once and teams thought we were undergoing the “cervix acceptance process”.
Another colleague commented “ah yes, the hardest acceptance to get” and I still think about it now. 😂
After learning Josh King plays for Fulham, then subsequently learning it wasn’t the Josh King I knew of, is it time for footballers to have the same rules on names as actors?
But you’d be Dan Thermos by deed poll in exchange so swings and roundabouts.
Oh come on Peter. That’s Allardyce adopting football’s playbook, not the other way round. 😂
I’m in big smoke and think I’ll be going to Data Bites tomorrow night!
Anyone else going?
