The hills that border our neighborhood here in Missoula are currently resplendent with wildflowers - especially the Arrowleaf Balsams. It’s also a banner year for Meadowlarks. The hills are alive with the sound of music.

It's at once wonderful and odd to think that I've been leaning into hospice and palliative care since the late 1970s.
The saying “90% of life is showing up” rings true. I’ve found that the other 10% involves arriving with good intentions.
Holidays gatherings are often joyous, but let’s face it, sometimes conversations with relatives and friends can be fraught.
Remember, you can only take care of your side of any relationship.
